The article discusses the discourse around a serial novel published in Dziennik Polski i Dziennik Żołnierza in the years 1949–1965. The author presents the story of a neglected segment of exile literature in the eyes of everyday readers. The author analyzes and determines their favorite writers, and tries to decide what determined the popularity of particular names.
